From East Rochester to International Competition

How Dane LeClair trained at RSF and took his volleyball career to the world stage.

Athletic Performance

An Athlete Built for More

Dane LeClair grew up competing in volleyball and quickly made clear he was a player with serious potential. Talented on the court, he also understood early on that athletic success requires more than skill — it requires a physical foundation built in the weight room, on the training floor, and through disciplined conditioning work.

That’s what brought Dane to Rochester School of Fitness. He trained with RSF to build the strength, agility, and whole-body conditioning that would allow his volleyball skills to reach their full expression at higher and higher levels of competition.

The approach at RSF isn’t one-size-fits-all. Dane’s program was built around his athletic goals — the specific demands of volleyball, the movements that matter on the court, and the conditioning base needed to perform consistently under pressure.

The Training

Building an athlete from the ground up — strength, power, agility, and resilience.

Strength & Power

Lower body strength is the foundation of volleyball performance — every jump, every dig, every explosive lateral move starts from the ground up. Dane’s training included progressive strength work designed to build the kind of power that translates directly to the court.

Conditioning & Agility

Volleyball demands explosive bursts of effort, quick direction changes, and the ability to sustain intensity across long matches. RSF’s functional conditioning work — including agility challenges and endurance circuits — gave Dane the physical gas tank his game required.

On the Court

All of the training work translated to something visible: sharper play, better endurance, and the physical confidence to perform at his best when it mattered most — including on the international stage.

Gold Medals & International Competition

Dane’s commitment to training paid off in results. He went on to compete at the elite level, representing himself and his community on the international stage — including tournament competition in Italy.

The gold medals in this photo aren’t just trophies. They’re evidence of what happens when athletic talent meets disciplined preparation — the kind of preparation that RSF is built to support.

For Dane and for RSF, this is what the work is for.

Community

More Than a Training Program

What makes RSF different isn’t just the programming — it’s the relationship between trainer and athlete. Mido doesn’t just write workouts; he invests in the people he works with.

For Dane and his family, RSF became part of their athletic support network — a place where the work was personalized, the attention was genuine, and the goal was always what’s best for Dane’s development as an athlete and as a person.

That kind of investment shows up on the court. It shows up in gold medals. And it shows up in relationships that go well beyond a training session.
